Hotel Ala

We are in the heart of Venice, a short walk from St. Mark's Square, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Fenice theatre, Palazzo Grassi and Ca' Rezzonico.
Decidedly among the most outstanding of 3 star hotels in Venice. What is now Hotel Ala was in fact a proprietarily house, of which historical traces exist from the early eighteenth century, as can be seen on paintings, including one by Canaletto. The building was made into a hotel only in the 1960s and it has been managed by the Salmaso family for over 15 years.
